In each of the 12 video modules, you will be introduced to one Stage of the Great Round through a brief description, a mandala directive, a curated music playlist, and reflective practices.
After completing Cycles of Life, you'll have a collection of mandalas, skills, and creative experiences to better understand yourself and your life through mandalas.

Each video closes with a positive affirmation for you to carry into your day or evening.

YOUR "CYCLES OF LIFE" TEACHER -
SUSANNE F. FINCHER

Susanne has introduced thousands of people around the world to the spiritual, psychological, and health enhancing dimensions of creating mandalas. She continues creating mandalas as a personal reflection dedicated to healing herself, her fellow beings, and the planet we all share.

Not at all. In fact, this is an ideal course to help guide and support you through getting started with creating mandalas.
Yes, absolutely. We find - and have been told by students - that each time we return to exploring one of the Stages of the Great Round, we learn and experience something new. We believe our mandalas are a reflection of us in the moment, so mandalas can be incredibly helpful and enlightening to create and reflect upon as life is happening.
You will need a device and internet connection to watch the course videos. You may also want earphones/ear pods to listen to the videos and music playlists.
For each mandala activity, we’ll provide suggestions for materials (i.e., drawing, painting, collage) and then it’s up to you to choose what works best for you. We provide a list of recommended and potential art materials for you to consider when creating your mandalas.
You will also need to download the Spotify app (free) to listen to and access the curated playlists.
No, everything you need is included with the course. With that said, we do highly recommend The Mandala Workbook by Susanne Fincher, as we reference it often in the course. It's an incredible resource for creating mandalas and diving deeper into the Stages of the Great Round.
Each video is around 1 hour and 15 minutes (give or take), which includes a 10-15 minute (approximately) introduction to the Stage , 45 minutes to create your mandala, and 10 minutes for journaling. You are always welcome to pause the video if you need more time to create or journal.
We would love that! You can always connect with us on Instagram or Facebook @creatingmandalas. Or e-mail the CM team with your mandalas, as well as any thoughts or questions you may have.
