Each Mandala Activity includes an overview of the mandala activity topic, as well as materials options, detailed directions, reflective journaling prompts to support you in making meaning from and taking action inspired by your mandala, and a sample image of a mandala one of the CM team members created with these same directions.

For each mandala activity, we’ll provide suggestions for materials (i.e., drawing, painting, collage, digital art apps) and then it’s up to you to choose what works best for you. We provide a list of recommended and potential art materials for you to consider when creating your mandalas.

No, everything you need is included in the PDF. With that said, we do highly recommend Creating Mandalas and The Mandala Workbook by Susanne Fincher, as we reference them often in our work. They are both incredible resources for creating mandalas and diving deeper into the meaning of your mandalas.
This is really up to the creator. We imagine some Mandala Activities could take around 20 minutes, while others you could spend hours on. Remember, there is no right or wrong - follow your intuition and personal needs.
